Well, as a White American, I find that we tend to be well educated and decent people, though those are the only kinds of White Americans I hang around with and I am including my Puerto Rican husband in the mix because he is as White as I am. In fact, so are Mexicans, illegal or legal.

Who are the white Americans? I have been asked if I was Hawaiian , Mexican, Asian, Indian, Italian, or Mix, I have been asked if I spoke Spanish, and when I said no..the man said.."It is a shame you don't speak your native language." I have had smiles from Mexican women when I walk into a store until I take off my daughters hood...she is blond... then I get sneers. I have been told I was a pretty mix girl. And then you can through in all racial slurs that go along with these races, and then there are the ones who think I look , or have "Ish's" in me. Soo..and those slurs too, and then being through into the "white race" category.Now... my point is this...I am American. Oh , ish's, is how I refer to myself when I am speaking of what my father donated to the gene pool. He had Irish, or English, Or Scottish,..you know Ish's. I don't know exactly what he was...anyways. Anyways I would like to know exactly who are "White Americans".

So just how is a misanthropist like myself supposed to answer this? With the same degree of intellectual honesty I answered the hispanic question? Here goes.

As I stated earlier in the Mexican question, it all depends on whether or not you cling to the worst elements of your cultural orientation.I'm white(Southern) and I have white friends, but I know white people I wouldn't piss on if their hearts were on fire. Nothing in this world is more pious and pristine than your typical, upper middle class white person. For most white people, skin color is about as much as we have in common.

So what's up for the next round of race bateing/race decrying?
"What do you guys think of cambodians...be nice."

I know that all people can be a pain in the rear, and whites can be no different than any other race/color .Most want to do the right thing given the chance. But whites have feelings and needs just like all the other people. We all love and hate, cry and smile. People are all the same just different.

Any one want to donate to the relocation of
A Reflection
He /she seems very unhappy in his/her own skin.
I'm sure there are many places you could choose that feel just the way you do about white people. If I were that miserable being white, then Id do something about it.

White Americans are no different than other Americans. There are good white people, there are bad white people. Same can be said about blacks, Mexicans, Asians, etc. There are good people and there are bad people. If you judge people based on the color of their skin, you have a lot to learn about life. Never judge a book by its cover. You may look at someone like myself, and say, oh, your last name is Velasco, you must be Mexican. You may see my brown skin and come to the same conclusion. What you don't know is that my mom's maiden name is Consolazione. That makes me also Sicilian. But by looking at me, you would never know that. Get to know the person, than judge them. But if you judge them off what they look like or what ethnic group they belong to and make conclusions based on that, you will not get very far in this world my friend.

You just have to love questions like this.

They could be thought provoking or spark a lot of anger.

I am not going to tell you my ethnic background because it should not matter.

Is there any race that is bad? If so I haven't met anyone from it.
Why cant we just judge everyone on an individual basis? Why are there people in this world who can see someone and say that person is a __________________ so I don't like them?

Well, they kept my people from working and treated them like dirt. They also put signs on their places of business stating that my people should not even apply for work there. the signs read 'NINA'. My people fought back and started their own businesses and worked digging ditches or whatever it took to work in order to feed their families. All of this was done without government help or handouts. I am an Irish-American.

White people are really good at building things, like england and europe etc they have been around for thousands of years... middle eastern folks are were good at building civilisatiosn too..

dark skinned people arent so good as white people at building things but they fit in with the environment a lot better, seriously if there was not white/asian people there wouldnt be global warming i can guarantee it... :P

ok ill try to keep this really short!
i think most of them complain a lot about everything, theyre bossy, they expect work to be done for them, n when it is, they still complain. they get in this country the easy way by just bein born, most of them dont know anythin about any other countries, theyre greedy, lazy, overweight or super skinny, theyre selfish, a lot of them are stubborn, n for some reason they seem like theyre scared of blacks n hispanics, like we're all gonna cut them or sumthin....i was trynna be nice here.

I think character is more important than skin color, I've met 'winners' and 'losers' of all races, creeds, and colors, I also think it's important to not be so judgemental.

The issue du jour isn't even race. It's the border. Our borders are all screwed up. Nevermind PC 'make nice', the borders have to be fixed.

I like white people just fine as long as they are respectful...you can't judge a whole group on what one person does...but i know one day at work this white guy said that the mexican children were ruining city property (a chair) and that they have no manners or home training because the chair was dirty and had crumbs on it...statements like that make me wanna shake white people but i couldn't...so i just don't make conversation with that dude!!!
