Yes, of course. Spirituality is not determined by a person's sexual orientation. Christianity asserts that homeosexuality is a sexual sin in much the same way as is fornication. It should not be treated any differently than those of heterosexual orientation who deviate in the flesh.

The question is not can a gay person be a Christian. There are many who profess to be Christian. The question instead is can a gay person be accepted into any of the various denominations and congregations? And again, those answers are also many.
Several churches will accept celibate gay persons, some allow partnered sexual contact, a few will even perform commitment ceremonies akin to marriages. And a few also will not allow anyone to join who professes that they are gay. And inevitably, there are probably gay people in most congregations that have never emerged from the closet. To expect a uniform response on the question of gay acceptance in the churches is to meet with frustration.

A gay person can indeed be a Christian, but I think the emphasis that ALL of us, not just gays, need to have is not what WE want, but what God wants. Are gays, or anyone else, seeking what THEY want, or what God wants? There are a lot of heterosexuals who think they have free license from God to do whatever they want with regard to sexual promiscuity and still remain in God's favor. The issue isn't sexual identity per se--it's whether we're seeking God's will or our own will. If we're seeking to do God's will instead of our own, it won't really matter what sexual desires we have if we put our desire for God before our desire for sex. Does that mean it will be easy? No. Impossible? Not at all. We can do all things through Christ (Philippians 4:13). If we keep Him as our focus, nothing else will really matter.

Not according to the Laws of Moses, they are an abomination, that's why the Fundamentalist Christians are constantly trying to deny them Human Rights. You have to embrace all of the Bible to call yourself a Christian, when you pick and choose which parts you like and ignore the rest you have lost all claim to the Divine authority it supposedly has. That's why I'm now Pagan.

being that I have seen Christian Witches, Jews for Jesus, I would have to say its possible.
Lets be even more concreate on it, as most of the Preist that were abusing children were abusing boys, they would be by definition gay, and as such, if they are still christian (the church moves them about) then it must be possible.
Odd that the bible says nothing about pedopelia, but does against homosexuality. i think the people that help the accused priest forgert the homosexuality part of it all. Not saying if they molested girls it would be better, but at least thats easier to reconcile with church docterine.

He can be a christian by name... but not a true one.... If he wants to follow Jesus by all his heart he will ask God power to stop doing this stuff ( being a gay )
That is what the Bible says about gays , lesbians, ....
Romans 1:25-32 "25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,
30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:
32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them."

Certainly many of the more liberal denominations would accept them. But more traditionalist denominations say that it is an abomination against God and is an unnatural relationship.
Many creationists argue homosexual behaviour comes as a result of the acceptance of Darwinism and the abandonment of traditional ethics which resulted. However, I am a creationist and I am not convinced of this argument- there is no evidence given, Biblical or otherwise.

No, they cannot be Christians because they are continuing in their sin. What I mean is they are committing the same sin over and over again and are not repentive in the least. We as Christians are suppose to do everything in our power to turn away from sin. We are to repent of our sins and not repeat it. Furthermore, I believe, as God said they were, given over to a severely debased and perverted mind. If you love God than why would you do something that He detests so badly. He destroyed two cities to show how much He hates the immoral sexual deviant.

There are many gay Christians right now. It's a fact. But some other Christians don't consider them "real" Christians, so it really comes down to a question of "What constitutes a Christian?" and that is a matter of dispute.

Yes a Gay person Can be a Christian, but not one who will gain entry into heaven.
the bible is clear on this:
1 Cor. 6:9-10 Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? DO NOT BE DECEIVED: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor HOMOSEXUAL OFFENDERS 10nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.
That pretty much makes it clear as crystal does it not? or how about this: The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; 20idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions 21and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God. gal.5:19-21
But lets not forget: Matt.7:21 "Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but ONLY HE WHO DOES THE WILL OF MY FATHER who is in heaven
I can keep going all day if you like.....
