Being a single mom with two kids can be very challenging and stressful... but at the same time very rewarding. My children are 9 years and 16 months, so my daughter (who is 9) is dealing with friends, school, her first boyfriend (which is cute right now but will be very stressful once she is older), and my son wont let me go out of his sight for a sec without screaming. I find that I am going and going all day everyday until 9pm when my daughter goes to bed then I'm cleaning and doing laundry and then finally bed. Its hard when you dont get a little time to yourself not even to use the bathroom!

Stressful situations?
needing to use the bathroom in a killer traffic jam...where there is no place to get out of the line. That was very hard on me as an individual. I was worried that I would wet the seat of the car and I didn't know what I would do. It was quite awful and I still flash back to the day I really had to hold it.
I have a real life and I have gone through stressful periods of time but I don't really want to share them.

A job interview with three people. They weren't very well organized and they didn't have a problem with throwing questions at me in any order or at the same time. I was in that room for an hour. I left feeling exhausted. There was no time to second guess a question or an answer that I gave. The more I thought about it the mad I got. What was that all about? What was the purpose of it? The whole experience was way too stressful. After all of that I didn't even get a letter of rejection or thanks. No phone calls or anything. I wasn't disappointed.

When my mother in law needed a place to stay for a little while and ended up living with me and with my and my newlywed husband for over 6 months! And my husband wouldn’t let her do a lick of work or pay for anything… major emotional and financial stress!

Within what context? As a student? As a teacher?
When I taught fifth grade, one my students disappeared during recess... I didn't realize it until I got back to the classroom with my class and looked out the window. He was running across the soccer field, away from the school. This was my first week teaching. I resigned not long after that.
