Caramel is a coloring not a sweetner .
Coke zero is sweetened with splenda .
I can`t get used to any sugar free sweetner so I add a twist of lemon which makes it tolerable .
I`m diabetic now so I have to get used to it .

caramel is a candy & coloring agent made from reduced sugar syrup but the amount used in coloring is quite small so the per serving amount is still approximately zero.

All Coca Cola products have that on the label - it is a food dye and contains no sugar, no taste.

I don`t know. I tried it with Diet Coke. Get a 2 Liter Bottle of diet coke (can`t be flat!), then open it and dump a whole bunch of Mentos in it (I used peppermint), then....step back and enjoy the show...(seen that on Mythbusters)
