I'm afraid you're worrying too much about worrying. That happens - especially when health figures come out about how worrying too much can affect your health! Now THAT's something to worry about! So if you're too worried about worrying about worrying, I say "why bother?" I mean, talk about running around in circles like a chicken with your head cut off! What's the point?

So, here's the plan:

1. Buy a MAD button that says "What? Me worry?"

2. Take nothing seriously, including this question.

3. Join the circus.

4. Well, ok, maybe you don't want to join an actual circus, but face the fact that life is really just like a circus and most people are just acting like they know anything. I certainly hardly know anything anyhow. I spent a long time worried about knowing a lot and where did it get me? Nothing! Not much money, no girlfriend, alone, miserable... Well, ok, maybe it isn't THAT bad, but I'm pretty sure there is a country music song out there somewhere for me. Anyhow, it was pointless because all that trying and worrying got me nowhere fast.

Real advice? DO something. Do enough and you won't even have time left to worry. You'll just be too busy. Overloaded? Whatever. Drop something then. Sure, someone will cry about it, but you'll just go on.

Me? Well, I don't care much any more if I become successful. Lots people other people *thought* I was successful (and still say so) even though I might have still thought I have a long way to go. Whatever. I prefer not to even think about it. What's the next mission? What's the next project? Girlfriend? Whatever. If I was going to have a girlfriend it would have happened a long time ago, right? Worrying about it never did me any good! So why bother? It's just another headache anyhow. Alone? Well, maybe I kind of like being alone now. I'm used to it. In fact, I don't really know anymore what I'd do with someone else in my life these days anyhow, so what use have I got for them now? Sure, I have lots of money now since I haven't had so much as a girlfriend, let alone kid expenses, but I'm also too old to bother with the dating game. It's so obnoxious anyhow. And what if they make noise, right? Or what if they don't like my music? YUCK! No thank you!

So you see? Just turn that frown upside down. Other people might think you're sick in the head, but you're happy!

However long the night, the dawn will break.
- African Proverb

A pessimist sees the difficulty in every opportunity; an optimist sees the opportunity in every difficulty.
- Winston Churchill

Our glory is not in never falling, but rising every time we fall.
- Confucius

just a few quotes from wonderful people, teaching us that life isn't about how bad things are , or how horrible things can get for us
but that as amazing human beings we have choice to see things in a different light and adopt a more positive attitude.
If for every time things got bad we gave up ... would we ever learn anything?
life is about learning , learning from mistakes or as I like to call them learnings ... as I don't believe anything is truly a mistake
Is there anything you have done in life that cannot be looked upon in reflection as something that has made you a stronger, more loving and compassionate person ?
I cant count how many times in the past I have said " I wish I hadnt done that " or " I wish I had done that differently "
and for years I wallowed in these thoughts , not once realising that I am who I am for all I have done .. and you know I’m a pretty wonderful person !
Don't see things in life as mistakes .. see the opportunity that can arise from the lessons learnt
Dont see life as one big miserable hurdle .. but as a wonderful challenge that you are more than capable of achieving
Dont see yourself as a failure .. but an amazing human being with the capacity for learning
If you can adopt this more positive perception then perhaps you will begin to see that life truly is a gift !

Worrying does not change the end result, it just makes you miserable in the meantime. It's hard not to though. Best way to avoid worry is to try and resolve problems as quickly as possible.

Most things we worry about, never happen. The only thing worry changes is our health, it can literaly make you sick.

I'm a Christian and I find that if I spend time in prayer, praise, or the Bible, it works as a stress buster for me.

Find something you enjoy doing, and then, don't think about it, do it.

I've seen a lot of good answers for this question.

Don't worry, be happy! Peace!

Just know that if u ask God to help u out of it, He will. And if He doesn't then that mean that He wants u to use that expirience to testify how God has helped u when u were going through that certain problem. Just knwo that God will hlep u, and that u have to rely on God to help u. He is our Father so He cares about us. Just rea thsi verse : Exodus 14:14 , "The Lord will fight for u, u only need to be still.

absolutely. how not to worry. stay in the moment. stay in the now. don't project. mindfulness. in all the years of therapy and 28 day stays i have done, the biggest enlightenment, well one of them is exactly what you are talking about. do what you can as soon as things come up, unless they need some planning or prayer. don't procrastinate. it just eats up time in your head. get it out of the way. pay attention to the moment your in. if your having lunch with your kids don't be anywhere else than that. totally focus on what your doing. picture your feet on the floor if you have to and your arms on the table to get yourself grounded. you cant do anything else about next Tuesday while your eating lunch right now with your kids. and then next Tuesday at that moment stay in that moment focused.

:)

do your best to constantly seek what is Healthy, Positive, AND Healthy (please all 3 together!). keep yourself accountable, trustworthy. don't regret anything u have control over; and don't be upset about things u obviously have NO control over. be realistic, YET open minded. continuously learn, observe, experiment and GROW. know that u can always change something tomorrow, regardless of what u did yesterday or today. :) and keep working on urself, so at least Your confidence, yourself, your life, your business is "taken care of"; and when life throws you a curve ball, u are as ready as u can be, and u won't really regret anything cuz u are always trying to do ur best. :) good luck~

work out your faith, just like in the health club, you work out your body, do the same with your relationship with God, spend time in the word, apply what you learn, exersise your faith that your faith might grow.

and don't worry, God works All things together for the Good for those who love him. claim this promise. lean on it. know this when you are in such a struggle that you can know nothing else. Everything he works for the good. sometimes it gets hard to see, but if you can remember this one thing you can keep your peace of mind, and joy in the worst of circumstances.

Place your trust in God through Jesus Christ.

You might want to consider taking some action, too. What we do for God's kingdom is treasure (speaking figuratively) in heaven. Read Matthew 6:21 (NIV): "For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also." If your heart is with God, why worry?
