She was indeed a martyr.
Someone who gives their life for serving God, brutally slayed by men who say they are spreading peace.

What she did should, although I hadn't heard about it, was very heroic. She left an example for all. Forgive those who tresspass against us. I do not believe Jesus, although it is a nice thought , gave her or anybody else or even the pope a martyrs crown. Usually you forgive to set yourself free. She is unable to set someone else free. Only Jesus can do that. Her action is very important and I'm very glad people are recognizing it.

I just heard about that yesterday. I was wondering the same thing. Let us have hope that she died for Christ in the true spirit. In any case she is a good example.

It would be hard to forgive someone for killing you, she was a true martyr.

I think she was a good person to forgive those who killed her.
For me the jury is still out about Jesus.

Seeing as an afterlife doesnt exist, I seriously doubt she was given anything other than a proper burial.....
