Why do some of you think genocide is a solution to terrorism?

killing might have short term benifits but will have side effects

look at my Question below this one and alot of people like the idea of killing all of them

If by Genocide you mean the complete eradication of terrorist. Unless we drop a lot of nukes eradicating terrorist by killing them is impossible. The real solution is stopping the Imams and clerics who preach violence and hate against the west. Almost all terrorist can be traced back to the leaders of the Islamic faith. These men aren't born terrorist it's there enviorment that effects them. and the enviorment they live in supports violence against the west and non Muslims. not all Muslims are terrorist, but all terrorist are Muslims.

Because we don't have 500 years to wait for these people to evolve out of the Middle Ages on their own.

Technological progress is making weapons more dangerous all the time. Already we can make nukes that fit into a backpack. There are reports that a muslim was caught trying to take one of them across the Israeli border a month after 911. If we're at this level now, what will be possible in 20 years? Or 50? Or a 100?

Genocide is by its mere mention wrong...but some of them were right in saying that we cannot just keep killing Osama and Fiends only, because even if we get all of them today, the problem is sooner or later some other madman will think that it is their goal to impose Islam by force. Osama did not get his idea of creating an evil Islamic Empire out of a vaccum, there are passages in the Q'uran that if taken literally mean precisely this. And the sad truth is many Muslims agree (perhaps unconsciously) with Osama's beliefs.

If only Islam can purge ITSELF of Osama and Fiends and dispose of all the morons who preach this stupid idea of an Islamic Caliphate permanently then we wouldnt be having this problem.

I've never heard that one before. However, Muslims are WAY too passive on the issue of terrorism. My god, draw a picture or quote medieval text and you open the gates of hell with them.
However, killing infidels in the name of Islam doesn't seem to evoke the same reaction. strange...don't you think?

Because my husband is at war with the same people my father was at war with10 years ago. If we kill them all now, my sons won't have to fight their sons in ten years. Those people are nothing but trouble, even the kids are being tought to hate. It isn't our fault, that is just the way it is.

You are an idiot if you think killing them off is a good idea. They are just talking anyways. If it was up to them to kill off the Muslims they would chicken out. Killing terrorist isn't a bad idea, killing all Muslims is a bad idea.

Some think that because they have never been involved in learning about it. Genocide never stopped anything. A good example in Pol Pot in Cambodia. First clue, he's not in a position of power anymore.

I don't know, I don't want to see that as the only solution, but what are some other solutions that would work? Killing Israel? Converting to Islam?

Because , our enemy is a cancer that keeps reproducing itself with only one purpose, to kill us. In the words of every solder that ever fought. It's kill or be killed.

Their religion dictates that there can only be them. So , lets eliminate them all.
