You are walking along a path when you come to a cross roads, one road leads you straight to hell and one leads you straight to heaven, there are two brothers each one guarding one path, one brother always tells the truth and the other brother always tells lies, you have one question you can ask to either brother which will guide you down the right path to heaven, only one question to one brother. What would the question be.

My question would have to be directed to the brother that was standing in the path to heaven. I would look at him and ask him nicely to step aside. If he doesn't do what I ask then there will be repercussions But then again, that would make me stand in front of the brother that lies. Oh my. I knew that life was full of decisions but this one would just keep you walking back and forth. geeshhhhhhh.. the path to hell is very, very wide and the path to heaven is very narrow. Maybe, Maybe I could squeeze past my brother. Furthermore, I don't have to ask my brother if I can go to heaven. You can only get there one way and it's not sitting in front of the computer answering question. oooppppppss

You totally stole that from the "Labyrinth"... oh and Sarah's answer didn't work in the movie if you remember, so anything like hers wouldn't be right.

And by the way since no ones has said Sarah's answer this is it: (she was actually talking to doors and which one was to the castle and which one was to certain doom, so I changed them a bit for your question)

To one brother: Answer yes or no would he {other brother} tell me this is the path to heaven? (in the movie the door answers yes and her reasoning is:)

Then the other pathway leads to heaven. Because if he was telling the truth you wouldn't be and if you told the truth, he'd have to be lying.

I would ask if my mother-in-law was in heaven because I would like to see her, if one brother said yes see is I would know he was lying then take the other road and tell him it takes a lie to find a lie
