No, Muslims do not believe that Jesus died on the cross for the forgiveness of their sins, but they do believe that God (Allah) intervened through a miricle and replaced Jesus with someone who looked exactly like Him. (I suppose it was in a great flash of light too, or lots of smoke... Maybe He used mirrors)
Hmmm, imagine that.
Even so He still died for them also...
That's part of the trouble with this, even history scholars from that time period, like Josephus have written about Jesus, yet those must be in error also...

Jesus did not die on the cross as believed by the majority of the christians. God has promised, that the holy Prophets are protected by him. Jesus was saved, because he was put on the cross to be given an accursed death. He did not die, to save other from sins, these are all altered stories, that were made up after the disappearence of the Jesus Christ. Jesus christ was a holy prophet, and the only saviour is the God almighty, and not Jesus christ.

No, they don't. They believe that God has no son, therefore, Jesus was not the son of God. They believe you cannot have a personal relationship with God. Their god is a totally different god from the God of the Bible. To them Jesus was a minor prophet and Mohamed was the main prophet. Mohamed grew up with his uncle, and his uncle traded goods with the Jewish people. Mohamed actually learned about God from those Jewish people, that is why they ( Muslims) do believe in certain people name in the Bible. Jesus was Jewish and therefore he would not have a place of honor with the Muslims. No Jew could die to save a Muslim, so they believe. But, when they and everyone stand before God to give an account of their life, they will see the Son of God there and his name is Jesus or Yahshua (his Hebrew name).

Its true that Muslims believe that Jesus is a prophet but don't see him as their savior from sin, since they don't acknowledge that he really died on a cross.

Nope, just prophet. They also view Moses as a prophet.
Interesting to note, of the 3 great monotheistic religions (Judaism, Christianity and Islam), ONLY ISLAM is willing to acknowledge the validity of the other two religions. They consider all 3 religions to worship the same God. In that way, they are the most accepting and inclusive of the religions. Ironic, no?

No and No.
Isn't it interesting how all Muslims reply with the same answer ...it goes to show you that the religion is very clear about issues like this.
However, if you ask a Christian a question like this, you get multiple answers, depending on the denomination of the answerer ... ;)

Jesus did not die on 'that cross'.
He was a prophet and we know and believe in jesus but It is said in the holy Quran that he did not die. We are waiting for his second coming which is probably soon......

we respect him ,love him and believe he is a prophet and al messiah but we dont belive he was crusifiued
according to al quran jesus is like adam as allah said ( 59. Verily, the likeness of 'Iesa (Jesus) before Allâh is the likeness of Adam. He created him from dust, then (He) said to him: "Be!" - and he was.
60. (This is) the truth from your Lord, so be not of those who doubt.
61. Then whoever disputes with you concerning him ['Iesa (Jesus)] after (all this) knowledge that has come to you, [i.e. 'Iesa (Jesus)] being a slave of Allâh, and having no share in Divinity) say: (O Muhammad SAW) "Come, let us call our sons and your sons, our women and your women, ourselves and yourselves - then we pray and invoke (sincerely) the Curse of Allâh upon those who lie."
62. Verily! This is the true narrative [about the story of 'Iesa (Jesus)], and, Lâ ilâha ill-Allâh (none has the right to be worshipped but Allâh, the One and the Only True God, Who has neither a wife nor a son). And indeed, Allâh is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.
63. And if they turn away (and do not accept these true proofs and evidences), then surely, Allâh is All-Aware of those who do mischief
) the amazing thing that both of adam and jesus were mentioned 25 times ( 25 for jesus ,25 for adam) in al quran
(156. And because of their (Jews) disbelief and uttering against Maryam (Mary <>Ã <> ) a grave false charge (that she has committed illegal sexual intercourse);
157. And because of their saying (in boast), "We killed Messiah 'Iesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary), the Messenger of Allâh," - but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but the resemblance of 'Iesa (Jesus) was put over another man (and they killed that man), and those who differ therein are full of doubts. They have no (certain) knowledge, they follow nothing but conjecture. For surely; they killed him not [i.e. 'Iesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary) <><><>]:
158. But Allâh raised him ['Iesa (Jesus)] up (with his body and soul) unto Himself (and he <><> is in the heavens). And Allâh is Ever AllÂPowerful, AllÂWise.
159. And there is none of the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians), but must believe in him ['Iesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary), as only a Messenger of Allâh and a human being],[] before his ['Iesa (Jesus) <><> or a Jew's or a Christian's] death[] (at the time of the appearance of the angel of death). And on the Day of Resurrection, he ['Iesa (Jesus)] will be a witness against them) al nissa chapter 4
