I think you should tell how you feel about this guy. If she is a true friend she'll understand and won't get mad. Then let the guy decide who he wants you or your friend.

Yes, but I only tell my closest friend about my crush. If she doesn't know him, then she wants me to show her who he is. But I can really trust her - I know that she won't tell anyone. She's the most supportive person ever. Since I'm a shy person, she encourages me to talk to him since I always feel nervous and chicken out. Other than threatening that she'll tell him if I don't talk to him, everything is good. I feel better when I let someone else know. She hasn't seen him yet, so she hasn't gotten the chance to tell him (although I doubt she will anyways). If she does, however, I think it might be good, because then if he likes me too (I can keep dreaming, right? xP), then it makes it a whole lot easier. But there are just some people that you can't tell. Don't tell people who talk behind other people's backs, or laugh at what someone else did. Chances are, they might tell other people, and that would be pretty embarrassing (for me, at least!). Trust me, it feels so much better telling someone, but make sure that you know this person will be supportive but won't give it away without your permission.

true friends dont keep secrets from each other. Just tell her that you think you have a crush on him too. As your friend she'll understand. Tell her nicely and maybe ask her for her opinion on the situation. Communication is key in relationships. She may get mad but you will feel better by telling the truth. good luck and i hope you get things worked out the nice way.

yes i would sooo tell her! cuz if girl #1 likes the same boy as girl #2... and #1 doesn't want #2 to go out with him. then maybe #2 wil not ask him out! Confusing, I know.

I would tell her but do not tell him and she tells him then just go with the flow or tell him before she does i have the same problem

leave it alone and get over him. You have the bigger problem. She is just telling you and she has no idea you like him. You will always want what she wants.

I had this same problem and I didn't told my friend that "I saw him first", I only said that she was boring cause she was only talking about him and now she likes other guy
