Pony play often involves the practice and training that a horse owner or trainer would put their horse through to learn how to walk, canter, etc, as modified for human limbs. Sort of there are pony girls and pony boys and there are organisations that cater for them such as "The other pony club" and "De Ferre." Sometimes they are fitted with special saddles and ridden but mainly they are harnessed to specially made light weight pony carts. I have tried it (as a pony) and it is quite fun if you like that sort of thing
