If your wings have an Oriental flavor to them, rice is a logical choice, like fried rice or plain jasmine rice, with some of the pan dripping over top.
If they are good old wings, then something like a baked or mashed potato, or scalloped potatoes or calico bean casserole with cornbread. Mac and cheese would be a good choice also, with green beans and applesauce...yum!

WORLD'S BEST MACARONI SALAD
1 1/2 lb box of elbow macaroni
1/2 bunch of green onions - chopped
1/2 tsp salt (or more to taste)
1/2 ea. red, orange, green and yellow peppers. total: 2 whole peppers
2 tsp dijon mustard (generous)
1 1/2 cups Hellman's Mayonnaise
celery salt
Cook Macaroni in salted water. Drain noodles.
While noodles are still hot, mix in mustard and mayonnaise in large bowl.
Mixture should be wet, but not creamy. Stir in Onions and peppers and salt. Mix well.
Taste for salt and mayonnaise content. Add more if needed. Coat top of salad with a sprinkling of celery salt and stir in.
Cover and refrigerate a few hours to allow onion and pepper flavors to permeate.
Serve cold.

BAKED POTATO CRISP
2 large Idaho or Russet potatoes, unpeeled
1 tbsp olive or peanut oil or spray
1/8 tsp each garlic and onion powder
salt and pepper
1 tsp fresh chives, chopped
1 tsp fresh parsley, minced
dash of paprika
sour cream (optional)
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
Oil 2 baking sheets using spray or oil. Scrub the potatoes well using a vegetable brush.
Cut potatoes into 1/8-inch slices.
Place in a bowl and toss with oil to coat evenly, or spray. Season to taste with salt, pepper, garlic, and onion powder. Sprinkle with paprika for color.
Place on the prepared baking sheets. Bake until crisp and browned, 20-25 minutes.
Adjust the seasoning to taste.
Top with a dollop of sour cream. Sprinkle with the chives and parsley.
Serve immediately.
