My friend went to a dentist several years ago and had some dental work done. Shortly afterwards, she began to notice excessive salivation building up in her mouth as she spoke. Since then...it has only gotten worse. What could be the cause and is there treatment?

Yeah, it really is my friend. She has been complaining about this to me for a long time, so I decided to search around about it.

i have no idea what the cause would be. ask a pharmacist if they think taking a drug that has anti-cholinergic properties like dramamine (or other motion sickness meds like meclizine) or benadryl would help with symptoms (it wouldnt make it go away permantly). id have her talk to her doctor though or that dentist, they might have a way to permanantly fix the problem

take benedryl. it's an antihistamine & will give you cotton mouth & fix your problem or smoke dope, if I recall, that does the same thing but gets you hi then you'll forget about your problem
