Nothing can be done. Sorry. I just lost 20 near my home, I did not own them or the land. Life is often filled with many disappointments. One of mine is to see a tree cut down for no reason.

Where is the tree located? If it is within 3 feet of the road there isn't much that can be done....it is in the cities right of way, sorry.

She could pay to have it moved if the owner is willing.

If that is all she is worried about well if it is not hers then she should grow one herself and not make a fuss.
