That word should read "wanting"

Probably best not to seem too desperate at the beginning. Give him a day or so, and then e-mail him.

Ok, why would you want to send your phone number to him when he hasn't even returned your email? Then you're going to be wondering if he got your number and why he hasn't called you or emailed you back. And you don't really like the guy.....you like the idea of him since you haven't met him and all you are basing that on is the information he provided about himself online.......calm down and wait for him to email you back. Otherwise you just look desperate and probably a little bit easy.

No, don't give him your number. Be patient. Match can be frustrating, but getting overly anxious can make you look desperate and get you into trouble. Never give out your number until you've met the guy. Always meet in a public place. Be careful! I usually email a guy for a week or two before we even meet. I want to know who is before I spend time meeting him.
Good Luck!

No wait til he emails you back. It sometimes take a little longer than 48 hours to get mail and he's probably don't check his email often enough. So get him time. Be patient.

I would hold off a bit. I have been doing the on-line dating thing for the past 5 years and always recommend taking your time and try not to be to aggressive. Better off just writing for awhile to see if you are really sure about handing out personal numbers, good luck!
