NOPE - Been there. Done that with 2. Our parents had more rights and made us mind. We want our kids to have more than we did so we've spoiled them. Also, everyone is into this self esteem crap - the kids are so arrogant that they think they know more than we do. Keep your wits about you because they'll turn you in to the Department of Human Services if they think you're abusing them. Just keep smiling while they're bugging you. No good advice - enjoy the ride it will be over before you know it. My house is quiet now - they've gone to college. YEAH YEAH YEAH.....

Teenage girls are worse! Just be lucky you have a typical aggrevating male teenager and not a girl. I hope I never have a girl.

I feel you! My daughter is a pain in the butt! Her attitude is awful! I swear I don't remember talking to my mom the way she talks to me! This sounds awful I know, but sometimes I want to slap the crap out of her! Her mouth is just so awful!! I never would though, but I've sure felt like it before! Man teenagers can give you hell can't they?

Somewhere along the line, life changed....
I miss my children terrible. They are grown and gone. I had six children, three teenage boys kept me laughing all of the time, even when I was ready to beat them with a broom....They have all joined the military.
Enjoy them and love them while you can, I would give anything to have the chaos, muddy foot prints and smelly bedrooms back.
