I have the same problem. My hair is layered but still dont have enough volume. So I use a product by Tigi called Headrush. You spray it on and at the same time ruffle your hair up with the blow dryer. It is fab and works a treat and smells lovely. It also last all day and night! Mine lasted until 3am the sunday morning!!
Also before you dry it put Tigi Queen for a day thickening spray on at the roots, that is great also!

maximum volumizing shampoos dry the hair which opens the shaft or cuticle giving it raise. The cuticle in healthful hair could desire to be tender and flat. ordinary lifting of this sediment will reason harm. Use a delicate shampoo yet no conditioner, different than on the very ends if necessary. later on, enable your hair air dry section way then proceed to blow dry flipping your head the different way up focusing the dryer close to hair closest to nape (back of neck). Drying thoroughly rapidly after washing is likewise unfavourable it is why you are able to desire to enable it air dry a selection of of how first. i'm a cosmetology graduate

Take two pieces of electric cable - bare the ends - put one cable in the negative outlet of a plug socket and the other in the positive side ( if you're unsure which is which, it doesn't really matter) grasp the other ends - one in each hand - hang on. Stand back and see the magnificent results. Either that or go and spend £108 at a hairdresser.
(DO NOT DO THIS - IT COULD BE FATAL!!!!!!!!)
Why cannot women be who they are?

I also have very fine hair and find having highlights put in gives it more body but please go to a professional. You didn't say how old you are .If like me (getting on) and your hair has thinned with age then do the above as i was getting desperate and i have tried every volumising lotion, .potion , mousse etc and until i found the highlight answer ,was slowly going out of my mind

I finally found a shampoo that helps me - John Frieda for brunettes & I use JF Mousse too. Goes without saying to have a good haircut. Shorter cuts work better if you want volume.

depends how super fine your talking about, try drying your hair with your head over, apply moose to the roots only (not the ends as this will weigh the hair down), finally once your hair is dry give it a quick blast with cold air from your hair dryer. follow these steps and your hair will be big and beautiful.

use a light volumizing mousse or spray, flip your head over and blowdry up-side-down with a big round or vent brush.
