This whole abysmal situation is like discussing flood control measures in New Orleans after the levees have broken. We are already up to our @@@ in alligators, it is somewhat late to be thinking we should have taken preventative measures years ago. I blame congress and state legislatures for fiddling while Rome burned. The 800 pound gorilla has already moved into our guest bedroom. I am at a loss for good ideas. I hope someone in power comes up with one.

Our Congressman Solomon Ortiz (D) TX along with others in the Hispanic Caucus and the Democratic Party at large, plan to amnesty them under the guise of "normalizing their status".
Round them up, send them back. Give 5 yrs mandatory jail time to those that hire them, or transport them.

I think that is too many people to offer amnesty to. Deport everyone and let them apply for legal citizenship. Politicians make a lot of promises, but don't count on them to do anything anytime soon.

First, secure the border fence...begin that process now...
along with that, mass deportation to the furthermost part of the illegals native country.
Then....prison time and penalties for ANYONE aiding, abetting or harboring an illegal. That, specifically, for employers.....
We also need to boycott those companies who give thousands to subversive groups as La Raza.....

Talk with your U.S. Congressman/woman about this. Contact the INS (Immigration and Naturalization Service of the U.S. Government - probably in Atlanta for your area). Let them know what you think.

Find em, shoot em. That's my blunt answer to your question, and a great way to solve the problem. That would send a clear message to the ones still in mexico to stay there, because we don't want them here.
