Do you mean machete? Possibly charged with carrying a concealed weapon, or nothing, depending on where it was.

If the person is a collector and can prove it , having a machette is not a criminal offense unless it's been used in a crime.

The shooter in Montreal guns were all registered to him legally too.

The dead girl's uncle summed it up well, nobody other than the police or army needs guns (or machettes or akas).

Do yourself a favor, get rid of the thing or at the very least locked up away in the attic somewhere so no one can get to it. Accidents happen way to easy and jail is a terrible place to live..

Nothing illegal about owning a machete.

If so, they would have to arrest everyone for having a butcher knife in their home.

Ridiculous.
