What's the difference between a Pagan praying over a candle, and a Catholic praying over a candle?
Yes, both of them deal with drumming. Both deal with religious ceremonies. They might even use similar beats or rhythms. But that's because it's a common, primal technique. If you're looking at it from a high-level view, sure, they're comparable, in the same way that praying over a candle is comparable no matter your religion. But the devil, as they say, is in the details - the specifics of the ritual, the intent, etc.

I would consider Native American Drumming to be a form of Pagan drumming. It is Earth Based. Paganism is all about diversity.

"a close-by american shamanic drumming circle"? you propose a wannabe new age amassing of non natives who think of they understand all approximately natives and our ideals so as that they make up a ceremony that has no longer something to do with somewhat natives and then fee human beings for an actual interior reach journey? h*ll no. you're being ripped off vast time.

Honestly, the only thing I can think of is "intent" and "gods/goddesses worshipped". However, I'm not of either religion, so I can be wrong.
