They claimed to be here to save us from delusion but I think curiosity brought them here. And you know what the saying "curiosity kills a cat"? It might just be case for them. Their curiosity in our faith might kill their unbelieving and become an ardent believer.

Just because an atheist denies the existence of god, doesn't mean they have no faith or spirituality. Since atheism is not a religion, with its own established dogma, no two atheists will believe exactly the same thing. Many are very spiritual, in a non-conventional sort of way. As for faith, I personally believe in science, which takes faith as well. Since I am in no way equipped to prove or disprove every scientific theory by myself, I take on faith the work that others have done in the name of science.
As for your real question, I like to frequent the religion section because I still have a keen interest in religion and spirituality. I enjoy seeing other people's points of view, even when they differ vastly from mine. Sometimes I ask a question, trying to get people to think about their beliefs rather than regurgitating what they have been taught in sunday school. Often, I answer questions, in an effort to get others to understand where us non-theists are coming from on certain issues.
I try not to be offensive of in-your-face about my opinions, as I know that I do not have all the answers. I just happen to think I am closer to the truth about most things than those who believe in god.

Unless you haven't noticed, yahoo answers has a big giant ANSWER button and when you press it you can answer any question.
Secondly religion is a subject of study. For you it may be a way of life, but the category is not "Religion and Spirituality for those who are religious". It is "Religion and Spirituality".
Religious people have lots of influence over the lives of the non-religious through their political power and sheer numbers. We need to keep an eye on you people and learn how you think.
Also, because we answer a religious question that doesn't mean that "it's our religion not to believe". It means that we answered a question. If we athiests started a church, then your point might make some sense.
Finally, if this was only for christians, why are many of the questions beginning with "Athiests answer this..."?

The category is about religion and spirituality in general, not about specifically having either. When considering religion, the lack of belief is just as important as the belief. In fact, it is crucial. This is about ideas and no one idea about religion is any more valid than another. You rule out a lot of questions and a lot of answers when you cut out the negative of a concept. I do not believe this is the intention of Y!A.
In addition, many atheists are quite spiritual. Or consider Buddhism - no god there, so it is essentially an atheistic religion. I think it is weird that these concepts are not understood by some people.

No. The opposite of believing in God would be to not believe in God. They have a belief of something, so they have every right to be here. Besides, there are a lot of Atheist bashing questions in this section, so they need to be here to defend themselves. Stop asking questions of them, then maybe they wouldn't be in this section. Does it bother you that they are here?

Is it a contradiction that you had to learn about the Greek mythology in high school?
A topic needn't be true to be intriguing. Otherwise, why would people get in groups and play roleplaying games or discuss the latest fiction book off Oprah's list?

An even bigger contradiction is How christians think they own the religion section. They constantly bash muslims, hindus, buhdhists, satanists, wiccans etc... Are these not religions too?

They don't have a answer nor a sufficient reason why they are here only that they lack morality and they show it here! I will never accept them. They are mentally unstable and demonic. It's definitely a compromise and a contradictory of their non-beliefs system and they are not who they label themselves to be. Sadly, its mostly men on here probably broke, busted and in their underwear sitting at the computer. THEY ARE A BUNCH OF SCUMBAGS WITH NO LIFE!
