OK, I already know that god has a long white beard and earthquakes happen when he gets mad (I mean, COME ON....we all know that!)
But what I was wondering was could GOD do anything he wanted if I prayed hard enough?

For example, if I was driving somewhere and I was running 15 minutes late, could god just destroy all the cars in my way so that I could save time?

Also, If the McDonalds Drive Thru girl got my order wrong again, could GOD just blind her? Or maybe just horribly disfigure her to teach her a lesson? Curse her family?

Hey CLOWN: Too bad I couldn't come up with a name like "foundationshaker". WOW! Now there's a name! You are a dirty mexican, aren't you?

Birdsflies: You must have the mental capacity of a "2 or 3 year old" if you can't recognize SATIRE when you see it. Let me guess....You pray to the Old man in the sky too? How about a "Talking Snake"? I guess you believe in that too? Are you mad at me or the fact that I have made your religion look silly?

The idea that God is an oversized white male with a flowing beard who sits in the sky and tallies the fall of every sparrow is ludicrous. But if by 'God' one means the set of physical laws that govern the universe, then clearly there is such a God. This God is emotionally unsatisfying...it does not make much sense to pray to the law of gravity.

LOL, no, God wouldn't destroy people because they were merely in your way. This would be unloving and unjust.

And btw, He uses earthquakes for other reasons, too. There was a mighty earthquake when Moses went up Mt. Sinai to receive the ten Commandments; this was to make the people fear the Lord, but He wasn't angry at all.

I understand this question isn't completely serious, so I won't give you a snippy little answer. However, God performs miracles each and every day ... but only for those who love Him and are called according to His purposes. He saved the life of my 14 year old daughter, who was being strangled by the father of her best friend; she prayed to God and begged Him to save her, and the man became weak and stopped; it's only by God's grace that she lived, because she was very severely strangled. I tell you these things so you can know God truly does exist and that His love will come to you, if you believe.

Peace.

Well, I'm not too sure about the whole long white beard thing, but yes, God can do anything. He created us out of nothing, so he can surely do those things you were talking about. But, He does not always give us what we want like a genie, this is good most of the time, becuase the world would be messed up a lot more if we got anything we wanted.

He did it for me just the other day. The boy in McDonald's didn't take out the pickle like I asked, and so I asked God to cut out that boy's tongue. Splat! It fell right on the grill while I was standing there watching! God takes orders much better than a spotty teenager at McD's, I can tell you, and he delivers in good time. God rocks. He's got a mean streak, though.

I think you have God mixed up with a genie. God doesn't "do" wishes, which is what you're talking about, not praying, especially when they involve harming another being.
You, based on previous questions, either have a misguided belief system, or you just like messing with people.
I'm betting on the second.

Well yes, in THEORY God could because nothing is beyond the reach of God. But God wouldn't do any of that, at least not cuz you prayed for it, no matter how hard.

You'll learn all you need to know about God when you leave here, unless you wise up while you have the chance. You are either on the side of Grace or Wrath. Its your choice. Accept the Gift of Pardon that Christ offers, or pay the penalty of your own sin yourself.

Try to ask civalized questions, not ones that a 2 or 3 year old ask.

You could do all these things if you allowed yourself to be His chosen vessel to work thru, but even then it would have to be His will not your own self serving will.
