smoke cigarettes because he is afraid people will think I am a s l u t. I don't want to change...I like the way I dress and I do not want to stop smoking cigarettes right now...and I like him, what should I do?

You should get out now. If he is trying to control you 6 months in to the relationship it isn't a good sign. I know it will be hard as you like him, and things are going well, but if someone is trying to control you, you should leave.

If that gy doesn't like you for how you dress then maybe cover up a bit...but only a bit. Don't back down...then he'll start controlling you completley. As for smoking...he might now like kissing you when you smoke. But if that's not the problem then smoke when he isn't looking or not there but make sure he doesn't think you quit. If you really think this boy is worth it do all of the above but if not...dump him.

If he can't except u for u leave him alone if you like the way you dress and smoking ciggerettes keep on not telling you ciggerettes is a good thing i smoke too but when they try to tell u how to dress and he knows u've been dressing like that that's probably what attracted him to u in the first place i think it could be a jealousy thing and a controlling thing he needs to except it or move on.

If he cares about you, then he wouldn't want you to change who you are, and plus he knew when he met you the way you dressed and that you smoked, so why stop. Make sure you show him that you care about him and reassure him that he is the only guy in your life..he may be insecure and worried that he'll lose you to some other guy.

Your clothing and smoking is inconsequential if to stop smoking or change clothing style makes your man happy. I had a stupid husband that liked me to dress sexy and show me off. That made me very uncomfortable and disrespected!

Never let a guy try and control your life. He must have liked it when you first got together... the thing with guys is that they are guys... He knows what others males look at when it comes to females maybe he is a jealous person and only wants you for himself. which is another reason to get out. if you really want to be with him then talk to him about it and let him know he can not change you!

You can't make the guy like your smoking, and your slutty dress.
Maybe he wants to be able to hold his head up with pride when he walks down the street with you.
He's certainly not proud of the trashy way you look with that cancer stick hanging from your lips, and that prostitute dress you wear.

If you like the way you are and he doesnt the most simple answer to give you is to stop seeing him. A guy that is "awesome" in your opinion should like you for who you are and not want you to change.
