When was the last time you saw your parents? Do you live in the sam town? Same state? Do you have a close relationship with them?
I moved 3000 miles away from where I grew up and my parents. I haven't seen them in 6 months and I get to see them this weekend. I am driving 350 miles to meet them before they head back home. I am so excited!!!

I am happy for you. How exciting. I am sure they are looking forward to it as much as you are.
I had always lived in the same town as my parents. They both died early deaths so it has been a while since I have seen them. But it was very nice having them in the same town all those years.

I don't have a good relationship with my mother and my father is deceased. I see my mother maybe once a year. I only live an hour away. Mom treats me as if I am still a toddler who can't do anything right. I can't change the way she feels about me but I can stay away from the hurtfull way she treats me. I call once every two months or so. I'm glad you have a great relationship with your parents In the long run it will make you a better parent yourself.

I don't know my father at all. I saw my mother on my birthday(Sept. 9). We aren't close at all. we live in different states, but actually only about 170 miles apart. I have lived 1200 miles from her, and plan on moving to the West coast in a few years, so I will be like 2200 miles from her. I don't care, I prefer to be further away from her.

I live about 1500 miles away from them and saw them last August in Vegas.
We are not close at all and they will be lucky to hear from me once a month or so.

My mom lives with my wife and I. My mom is 83 and getting into the dementia state of mind. My wife's parents live 19 hours away and we try to see them twice a year. It is hard on my wife but she accepts it and talks with her mom at least 3 times a week.

I saw my mom on friday. I live about 10 miles from her. So I am very thank ful for that.

i havent spoken to my mother for two years but now we are slowly buiding up a relationship but she is moving to another country.
i havent seen my dad since i was 1 yrs old. i am going back home to russia soon and i will try to find him. i dont know what to expect really. hes married with another family

I live in the same town as my family and we see each other very often.
the good thing about being far is that when you see each other, it feels great and exciting, you learn to appreciate them, more than when you take them for granted....
