"s" is right: it's what you write at the end of a letter ( = Love) or you can also say it on the phone.

Some people also say it when they are going to leave, but it's a bit in a hurry or unexpected.

And it's "je t'embrasse".

It doesn't mean that you want to f*ck or anything else!

"Embrasser" means "to kiss". So, basically, they mean that they are giving you kisses on the cheeks. But contrary to what "s" said, people don't really "air kiss", except maybe a few would-be hype people, but that looks ridiculous (I think).

How to kiss on the cheeks: you put your cheek next to the other person's cheek and make a kissing sound, and then repeat on the other side. If you kiss your family you haven't seen in a while, you really kiss the person. In my family, we also do that every morning and every night, before going to bed. I think most people do it.

PS: we don't hug in France, except among couples (of course!) or among members of the family you haven't seen in a while (but not everybody does it, and it's always followed by kisses) or with very close friends. We think it's more intimate than kisses!

to senses : if you know quite well this person it's kisses on the cheeks (4 in north of France and 2 in south)
if it's you husband or boyfriend= a kiss on the mouth
this first sense is used in friendly letter

but literaly (old french) it means make a hug

je t'embrase with 1 s means : i get fire on you

It means I KISS YOU. Idiomatic expression for I send you a kiss.

Not "I embrace you" or I hold you a it might aparent.

I can teach you more in a more realistic way what it means, at what time you get off work? Just for educational purposes of course mademoiselle, i don't mean to be rude.

It's French and means "I kiss you".

As a way of ending a letter, it's kind of like writing "love" at the end of a letter, which in this case, like the English term "love", can mean greetings of love or of friendship.
(In France they have this custom of giving each other little kisses to the air next to the cheeks when saying hello or goodbye, so kisses are also an appropriate way of ending a letter of friendship)

Btw, it's actually spelled "Je t'embrasse"
