after an butt grabing incedent made them take away your car and tell you never to see him again. I am 19 and my parents pay for my college so i have to stay plus i have no job.

I see that your obviously distraught about this. I've checked your questions. have you and your bf take them out to a nice place for dinner, before tell him everything you know that your parents like. As for you... it's time for you to find a part time job, cause well, at least you have some spending money. Don't take your parents for granted, they worked really really hard to put you through college, if your parents really don't like the guy after taking them to a movie, or a dinner, or a picnic in the park. Then I think you really might want to see what you like in this guy

I haven't been in that boat- but
well you can't say he was drunk because that's bad
you can't talk about his good qualities now since you are forbidden to see him again
so I guess their just going to be upset
no wait!!!nostalgia dwell on all the wonderful things he did for you and how he made you a better person-CONSTANTLY. Then, show how sad you are that they are annoyed or that he can't have a second chance or that it's over now though you wish for it back hint hint

It really is time for them to acknowledge that you are an adult... don't stomp their toes... At this point, it wouldn't be harmful to look at other prospects... Why not back off with hi for a couple months and see what else is around... and he really should have had respect for them.... I would say he has no intention of being serious, or he would have considered your parents and respected how protected they are of you.

You're between a rock and hard place. The best case scenerio is to sneak around with him and just keep them all apart until after you graduate and move out. At that point....they have no control over you or your finances.

What I learned through the years..parents are usually right, if you want to admit it or not. Just listen to their wishes and don't see him again..blood is thicker then water remember that. You never know what might happen in the future.

Its always hard to get parents to like a bf. Does it really matter if they like him? You like him and thats all that matters. You're 19 and can date who you want. They have to trust you to make your own mistakes. There may not actually be a way to get your parents to like your boyfriend.

If your parents support you, you have to respect thier opinions I'm afraid. If you can't live by their rules, don't live under thier roof.
You could try to build bridges, have a frank talk with your mum about how you feel about him, but it may not work.
