Who is right? The believers think they're persecuted because they have the truth on their side. The atheists/agnostics think the same because the truth is on THEIR side... who is right? Here are the links to the two questions.

Everybody thinks their right or else they would change. What we need is an independent, neutral judge, someone without any prejudice to either side.
Like an alien who had never been here before.
How do you think he would judge this?

Right as far as who is discriminated more. We both feel discrimination against one another.
Atheists such as myself feel that religion should not be part of the Government. This leads to some theists feeling they are being persecuted.
Some Theists wish to have no separation from Church and State. This is persecution against other religions and non-believers.

Asking the question again is not going to bring you any closer to an answer.
Faith and science cannot be compared.
It does interest me, however, that the faithful will gladly accept the benefits that science has brought their way as regards electricity, knowledge of gravity, location of planets, pasteurization of milk, medicines of many kinds, surgery, Internet, etc, but if it approaches any of the church's basic tenets, i.e. Creation vs Evolution they somehow are able to justify closing their eyes to science.
