There is no creator of which I can be unaware. I can't be "unaware" of something that doesn't exist for me to be aware or unaware of. Get it?
And no, it's not a contradiction. I'm very happy.

You can be aware of your creator and still be unhappy. So I would say that athiest can be happy. Others should not be responsible for you happiness, including spiritual beings. I beleive that you are responsible for your own happiness.

14 years of marriage and my 8 year old twins. Yes, I was married for 6 years before I had children.
I go to work everyday and come home every evening. I help my kids with their homework. I eat dinner, sometimes with my family, and sometimes not. We all sleep at night, just fine. Just like you.
Sounds like an ordinary life to me. Not immoral. Not unhappy I live like most people in the world. No matter what they believe or don't believe. I live my life , just like you, one day at a time.

A happy atheist is no more or less of a contradiction than a happy christian is....I have met more miserable christians in my life than I have met miserable atheists or agnostics.
Constantly living in Fear of the possiblity of an eternity suffering in pain is more than enough to make most people miserable throughout their entire lives.

Yes, I am very happy. Happier than when I thought there was some god or something. I now don't have to wonder why god is so cruel to children, sick people, etc. I realize the way life is and how we work biologically. Being an atheist is the best thing that has happened to my life.

I think there are people in the world who don't believe in the existence of a god and may have genuine happiness. I believe these people properly have most things in life going quite well for them and may be in denial of a need to acknowledge the reality of God. I for one am a believer in God and experiencing the reality of knowing God in a relationship through His Son Jesus Christ.

Can YOU truly be happy believing that if you don't follow the rules EXACTLY you're going to be suffering for all eternity? That would totally stress me out, dude. Luckily for me, I don't believe any of that crap so I'm as happy as a hog in sh!t.

No. Atheists can be happy too. They are probably happier because they don't have to worry whether or not they are doing something wrong. Are you always happy?

I am. why do you think I would not be happy. I have no need to live up to the expectations of a fantasy or the opinions of some ones faith. I am free from all that restrains religious zealots

I'm happier now than I was when I was a Christian.
Life makes sense.
I'm not blindly following someone whose exsistance can never be proven, and I'm exhausting myself by begging for forgiveness from a "loving father".
