I am a teacher. I have evacuated students for bomb threats; always false. It is scary even for the teachers. You always wonder if it really is safe to go back in. The thing is; it usually is fake. They arrested the person who did it every time. They may think that it is funny but they do not realize how much it costs the community and the harm they cause.
All in all I feel safe at school. Be smart and know that the administration and teachers will do everything possible to make sure that their kids are safe.
You should still go to school. Be aware of your surroundings and know that the person will probably be caught and pay their consequence. I am sorry that this is happening. We need to show them though that they cannot win.
A bomb threat is now considered an act of terrorism. It is very serious. They will deal with him. You go to school and learn.

Only when the other students get tired of a few nutty kids disrupting their school day with threats and bad behavior will something be done. Someone knew about this before it happened but just didn't tell anyone in authority. Teachers and principals try to listen and pick up on things before they happen, but it is the students that know things. Someone has to be courageous enough to tell.

WHEN I WAS IN H.S. WE ALSO RECEIVED THREATS LIKE THAT I PERSONALLY WAS VERY SCARED AND THEY ALSO BROUGHT DOGS AND EVERYTHING. NOTHING EVER HAPPENED BUT THAT DOESN'T MEAN THAT YOU SHOULDN'T TAKE IT SERIOUSLY!! After 9/11 my best friend and I said that if we were ever to be seperated from an evacuation that we would meet at the school sign in front of the school to make sure we were both safe and sound. A 15 year old should never have to go through that!!! But in today's society unfortunately, we do.

after columbine..i was in middle school..and there were about 4 incidents of bomb threats....each time we were released from school..but each time the person was caught..i know them to this day..and that decision they made now results in them being a nobody..they risked their future for an extra day off of school..though these people didn't have a bright future to begin with..they ruined all chances of turning it around
