I'd get the child into a counsellor asap. Would keep the child in my sight for an hour after every meal. Takes that long for the tummy to empty into the gut.

My mother took me to Gracie Square Hospital in New York City and admitted me to the eating disorders wing. That was 15 years ago and I still do it even though I am now a mommy. I did stop while pregnant, but anorexia and bulimia have been a part of me for so long now. We, who do this are very sneaky and have to lie a lot and it is exhausting. It is like an addiction.

Take her to the doctor, intervine. Support her/him in every way you can and get her/him the help that they need before it gets any worse. If it is just an experimental phase they are going through, the doctor or psychiatrist will be able to determine that. That would be my first action.

Counselling: bullimia is a psychiatric disorder, with low self esteem, and possibly low blood sugar, or uneven blood sugar. The body image of bullimics is distorted.
They must alter their self perception. They cannot be forced, but must be persuaded, and learn new coping skills, new ways to deal with tension and stress, and new positive aspects must be added to their life, like ongoing support.

Until you can get her to a therapist (you cannot help her on your own and you need to do this asap) you need to make sure that she doesn't go to the bathroom unattended after meals. Make sure she is supervised and get her to someone who can help her.
