I'm a woman and I would! You want to know why? If I'm out on a coffee date and we're getting along, the conversation is good, the atmosphere is nice, the man is DEVINE ----- I will make sure that coffee date turns into a liquor date! LOL! If he doesn't drink, I will make sure that it turns into a something he's interested in date. But I will get to 2nd base that's for sure! By the way, I'm a looker as well! And I have personality up the wazoo! So if you're interested, don't hesitate to write! Smooches! LOL!

I do. I think they are romantic. Especially since I don't go for drinking or smoking. I enjoy a date where we can sit and talk for a long time getting to know each other and enjoying looking at each other. My idea of going on a date to a coffee shop on a cold, gloomy, day is wonderful.

these days a coffee date can be fun. there are so many interesting coffee houses, some with live music or an ecclectic enviroment. the boring coffee shop "coffee dates" of the past are gone.

I actually think it's a great first date... Go out for coffee or a drink ... and then if you hit it off you can follow it up with dinner :D ... Good luck with that

to start with i wouldnt let a guy take me on a full on date, coffee dates are the best place to start. less pressure on you both and a smaller bill to foot too!!

Sure. It's casual and chatty one hopes. Informal to meet someone that way and takes pressure off each person than say a more formal dinner date.
