My Mother is in hospital suffering from Dehydration due to Diarrhorea and is being treated accordingly . but the Doc said to Her "I see You have a rare case of Red Palm"
What the heks that ?

sounds like palmer erythema. cant remember what it indicates other that liver probs, you could look it up though.

It could indicate advanced liver disease. Please have her doctors check her liver functions. Liver disease can show no symptoms until the liver is in advanced stages of damage, but I'm not a doctor so have the professionals check it out.
Many patients may have no symptoms and the cirrhosis is diagnosed only by physical examination and laboratory tests or when a complication (ascites, hemorrage) occurs.
Other cirrhotics experience loss of appetite, jaundice, itching (due to bile products in the skin) weakness, occurrence of red palms, spider angiomata, hypertrophy of the parotid glands, gynecomastia or fibrosis of tendons in the palms.

well my mum has always had red palms, she got diagnosed as a coieliac 6 years ago, it is a wheat intolerance, i have always had the red hands to and am now being tested for the same thing , it could be totally diffrent in your mums case but just
giving you something to investigate, as it was very hard for my mum to get diagnosed in the uk, it wasnt till she moved to ireland that they realised what she had, hope this was of some use to you, i wish your mum all the best !

Sorry cannot help, but I apologise for that ignorant person (Crispy?) who thinks it clever or funny to make remarks like that! Some times wonder what is inside their heads, certainly not brains that's for sure! I have of course reported him.
Watching this for answers, because I have heard of it and would LIKE to know the answer.
