First you should let your dog know you aren't mad at him anymore. Sorry, but it is your fault you left the blanket around for the dog to destroy. He is just a dog he didn't know what the blanket meant to you. If you didn't correct (not punish) your dog when he was biting the blanket his has no idea why you are mad at him. All he knows is he was chewing on something and you wanted it. He submissively gave it back to you. Take the blanket to your parents and they will fix it. From now on keep important things out of the dogs reach. It's not worth the risk to you or your dog to trust him around things like that. Everytime I come home to my dog and see he's ate something expensive I kick MYSELF for not thinking to put it out of his reach.

maybe patch it with an outfit of yours that doesn't fit you anymore or use pieces of the blanket to make a memory quilt for yourself with other favorite outgrown clothing, photos transferred onto fabric, blankets, signatures, hand prints like in the movie StepMom with Susan Sarandon and Julia Roberts. You could even make matching lap quilts for yourself and your grandma and give it to her for the holidays or "just Because"

You could also buy one of those frames that is 2-3 inches deep and use the blanket as a background and fill with photos, and other little items from your life and also give one to Grandma and keep yourself to share how much you love her.

Be creative. Make a pillow or two with parts of the blanket. and maybe on the other side, a photor of you and Granny . You don't need the whole blanket just pieces.

Depending on the material you could go to your local fabric store and buy remnents (pieces of leftover fabric, usually only a few inches wide) and sew them on there. It might look cool all patchy looking. THey make alot of different fabric now with different designs and characters. Be creative and you can fix your blanket. :) I've done this with some of my favorite comfortors and I'm 27! Good luck girlie.

what is it made of? if its fabric, you can find a similar or complimentary fabric and patch it. If its knitted or crochet, find a similar yarn and re-knit it. Is your grandma still alive? maybe she could help you. If she has passed on and you need some help, contact your local senior center (not a nursing home, but a senior activity center) many of the people you meet there will know how to fix these things, and can teach you too!

it actual relies upon on the size of blanket, the look and high quality.. yet 25dollars for components appears like alot. i wouldnt spend better than 20, for a toddler length blanket. bypass on ebay and seek for comparable blankets and spot what they are going for.

My dog ate my bed and like 15 sets of sheets. He's just so cute though. He would poop the sheet pieces out in the yard (they didn't digest). If you really love your binky, wash them and sew them back in, otherwise get over it.
