now if your a new golfer I suggest going to play it again sports you just need something to use until you have played enough to know what you want

All major manufactures make a line of clubs for women, the design weight and shaft lengths are generally softer. Top women golfer often play with men's clubs.

They are built for slower swings and sometimes considerably shorter players though I am 6' tall and use men's clubs ;-)
