Lots of people go on desert safaris. Me and my husband went on a tour up to Al Ain and we went across the border to Oman. In Dubai I love wild wadi, the water park. The malls are really cool. Ibn Battuta is beautiful, it is done to look like different parts of the world a long time ago. The Mall of the Emirates has a ski hill and it is fun to watch the Arabs try and ski. Plus they both have good stores. City Centre Mall is really busy but good for shopping and just for people watching. Plus there is a good ladies spa called the Paris Gallary. I like to go to the spa a lot in Dubai. Try a Morroccan bath, it is pretty nice. The Irish Villiage is a fun pub with good food and a good atmosphere. Those are my favorate things to do. Oh and make sure and find a good Lebanese Restuarant for a good meal and smoke the Shisha.

Dubai is desert with flashes of inspiration for the (very) rich. There is some Golf, clay pigeon shooting but what I like best of all is "Wadi bashing" This involves taking 4WD into the desert, letting the tyres down and going up and down sand dunes. Envoirnmentally a disaster for the area but ruddy good fun! Oh ! and for heavens sake, take plenty of factor about 500000 sun cream. Note that you cannot sit on the beach - unless you fancy being raosted to a burnt scrap.

I have heard of this water theme park called Wet n Wildy or something like that on the Amazing Race a couple of years ago and I watched a documentry on the park as it had some of the latest technology in water slides (technology in water slides! hard to believe!)
It has a waterslide like a rollor coster going up, down and around with special jets that prepell you and also there is other slide that I saw on the Amazing Race.
They had to go down a water slide at this park. It reached speed to 60mph it think.
If...well when I go to Dubai, thats where I will go. I think that is also a website, go tonGoogle and type in Wet n Wildie (check spelling).

dubai is fantastic place for shoppers.!!!
dubai emirates mall, ibnu battuta malll, ski dubai, dubai creek is some of the places you must see. you defenitely enjoy it here!!!!
by the way, i only been there twice.
