Where ever you go there are always going to be people that will pick on the weakest link. In high school that just happens to be the freshman. Hopefully it teaches the students to be strong and stand up for themselves, otherwise they will always be martyrs.

i never got picked on when i was in 9th grade... i didnt pick on the 9th graders either... its like i wasnt even a high schooler or something... everyone always seemed young to me but maybe thats why i didnt pick on them or i didnt get picked on.

Its just the natural way of things. There has to be a social ladder. Everyone suffers as a freshman, and rocks as a senior. Thats just the way it goes.

You mean freshmen? That's more of a joke than a reality, at least it was when I was a freshman, or at least the girls don't get picked on because I didn't for being a freshman.

I know what you mean! I graduated and now I'm a junior this year. they always picked on us last year saying when we least expect it. But it was funny when I beat down a Senior for hitting me. Opps..?

its partially becuase u no like tradition and stuff like that and its also because the ones that REALLY do it are bullies anyhow and bullies go afta the weak and the freshmen are the weakest so over all its cuz ppl are moronic
