I may sound harsh, but you are now an adult. It is time to do your own thing, pay your own bills, pay your own tuition.
No matter how old you are, when you live at home, you still have to follow mom and dad's rules. A way to get around that-get your own place. What you do in your own home is your business, but you dont have your own home.
Also, a RESPECTABLE young man would not disrespect you or your father by grabbing your butt in front of him. Instead of getting upset at your father-who is still taking care of you and upset cuz a boy disrespected you-you need to be upset at your boyfriend for displaying really bad behavior.

Sounds like you want to eat your cake and have it too.
Daddy treat me like your little girl.
Pay for my play things (even paying for half of a car is a pretty big deal - if you don't believe it pay for the whole thing and find out).
Pay for me to go to college.
But don't you dare tell me what to do because I am an adult.
Well honey - if you are so grown up you think you need to play house with your boyfriend then get serious move out grow up and pay for your own things.
Your father cares about you and has the audacity to prove it to you and you are so self centered that you are throwing everything in his face.
p.s. If your boyfriend is so inconsiderate of you and your family that he is grabbing your butt in front of your father maybe you need to re-think the situation.

Call me old fashion at 31 but yes I agree with your dad. You need to respect his rules if you are living in his house.
Now I do feel that also your boyfriend should respect the rules. Maybe he didn't know your parents were around when he did this so you could tell him to cool it down when you parents are around. If you do feel this is unfair then sit down and talk to your mom and dad. But be nice and respectful hear them out then ask if they will listen to you while you tell your side. It does seem a little to much to take a car away because of that. I mean how to they expect you to get around???

You need to listen to him since he is paying for half your car and your tuition for college. Also, living in his house, you need to follow his rules.

I didn't read your details and got all screwed up... You are an adult, yes, and fully capable of making your own decisions about sex... He's probably upset that his baby girl is growing up. But grounding you is just crazy... it seems to me that he must have been very angry and at a loss, so he did what he knows how to do. If it continues to be a problem between you two, I would suggest finding your own place to live. Good luck.

tell her to get a job. boyfriends will grab butts, and she's 19 she will have sex. Come on I lost my virginity when I was 16. I know you didn't want to know that. But really, your child could start to hate you if you try to treat them like a 14 year old. Buy the girl some condoms and birth control pills. This way at least you did what you had to and your child will love you.

Sweety if your daughter is now just having sex you should thank your stars she waited this long. you can't tell her what for the rest of her life. You have to give her the knoledge and tools to make the right decisions and support her even when she makes bad ones. She is practicly an adult and you have to let the baby bird fly eventually.
