but i never tell him that homosexuality is a sin.. I believe he knows that. But he prays and he seeks GOD in everything. He helps out people and he always give great encouragement to me and our friends. I will not stop being his friend, he is a good person and I love him in the Lord and has a good friend to me. (He is an awesome co-worker! Harder-worker) Will he still go to heaven? I know thats a tough question but he is a dear friend.

I am in almost the same boat. My best friends brother is also gay. I don't put him down or discrminate against him because of it, or tell him he is living in sin. homosexuality is a sin. The bible clearly states that. Genesis 19:1-13; Leviticus 18:22; Romans 1:26-27; 1 Corinthians 6:9. Like with all sins if the person dies and has not repented than.....well I grew up you never say someone is going to **** but it is a sin. He can be a good friend, and a good person but it's not by works that we get to heaven it's by faith, full faith. Not the kind of faith that tears pages out or the Bible because they don't believe something that is on that page (think about what is on the reverse of that page {this is a nice little experment if you take some fo the contervical topics and look at what's on the other side of the page}) Your only option is the same as mine, pray for your firend. I have seen people who fully believe that homosexuality is something that you are born with when they fully believe in Christ and are really in the word and in a personally relationship have a life changeing experence and no longer wish to be with the same sex. I hope that this helps.

At the end of the day Its Gods Judgement we cant judge people and put then into hell or heaven. Let God do that part . Of course homosexuality is a sin. All you can do as a friend it to help him in his spiritual life, and show him the right way, and the teachings about the bible. I know its a sensitive subject to talk with him, wait for the right time and get the help of your other friends to help him.

People must change when they accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior, and submit to His Will, and leave their sin behind.
If they don't, then they must be told that faith without works is dead.
In other words, talking the talk is not enough, you must take up your cross anf follow Jesus.
Anyone living a homosexual life is still in sin, and not following Jesus, and won't get into Heaven.
If you truly love your friend, tell them the truth of God's Word.

No one can say he will or will not go to heaven. The bible says, heaven and earth shall pass away. We they are saved will go to the prepared place Jesus has for us. He can however, be delivered from homosexuality before it's too late. Tell him he is living in sin. Do you know the story of sodom and gomorrah? God destroyed an entire city for the practice of immoral behavior.

Why would you word it that way? He "says" he's a Christian? Well... if he goes to a Christian church and worships the Christian deities and follows the Christian faith then hey... he IS a Christian. When you say "he says he's a Christian" that implies that you assume he's only nominally so.

There are many gay Christians. There are many congregations and denominations that accept homosexuals with open arms just as they accept everyone else (without considering them Hellbound because of their sexuality). The Metropolitan Community Church, for instance, allows them as members, ordains them, blesses their unions and even officially marries them in the eyes of the church. The same goes for the Unitarian Universalist church and many United Church of Christ congregations.

I am very happy when I go to church too...

But if you are referring to your friend being homosexual, homosexuality is not a sin, but if your friend is a practicing homosexual, then that would be the sin.

Just like if you don't know about Jesus because you were never told about Him, is not a sin, but if you were told about Him and denied Him, that would be a sin.

Being gay is a sin according to the bible, but so are many other things. All of us are sinners. Why do people always elevate homosexuality to a level of Ultra-sin.... if its a sin (which i honestly dont think it is) then its a sin at the same level as most other sins... so yeah, he may go to hell, but so will all the people having sex out of wedlock, and liars and cheaters... so if he does go to hell, he will have company... personaly, i think the bible has been pereverted my man too much to be a reliable source on exactly what is and isnt a sin.

Show him the bible verse 1 Corinthians 6:9. It show's the kind of people like him who will not go to heaven. We love the people, but hate the sin that they live by.

So he is gay. Big deal. The homosexual act is a sin, just like any other. And just like any other sinner, he will struggle with that. However, there is hope. 1 Col 6 says that "such were some of you", referring to homosexuals, gossips, etc, who are in the church but are saved.
