I'm pretty sure its the 747-400. It has the highest Mmo.
I'd also like to point out something about high-speed flight to Matthew...what you refer to in your statement where parts of the airplane exceed mach is actually ver common. MOST jets have that occurence. The speed limitation on a jet is not usually the amount of power its engines can generate, but the tendency of air to accelerate as it flows over the top of the wing. As the airflow accelerates, it can exceed mach 1. This is a bad thing, and results in something known as a "shock stall" where the laminar airflow seperates from the wing. The aircraft loses lift, pitches down, and accelerates thereby making the situation worse. That is known as a "tuck under"
The challenge in modern aircraft dwsign is to balance this against making a wing that is so skinny it doesnt produce enough lift at low speeds to get the airplane off the ground.
Old school aircraft had something known as a "barber pole" at the high end of their spedometer. This denoted the limiting mach number (Or Mach crit to be precise) and automatically told the pilots the speed this would begin to occur.
High altitude flight is very precarious. Fly too fast and you tuck under, but due to the scarcity of the air stall speeds can be increased greatly, so that the safe operating range between high-speed and slow-speed stalls may have only been a few knots. This speed range is euphamistically referred to as "coffin corner"

The Tupolev Tu-144, first flown on December 31, 1968, was reported to have reached Mach 2.4, or 2,587 km/h (1,600 mph), but normal cruising speed was Mach 2.2. The Tupolev TU-144, which Nato codenamed 'Charger', was built as a competitor to the British and French Concorde supersonic jetliner, however one of the aircraft crashed during a presentation at the Paris Air Show in 1973.

There's a Discovery Channel docunmentary about the 747, where they explain that during testing they have to dive quickly. During these tests some parts of the plane broke the sound barrier.
That's pretty fast, non?
