oh. i had this same problem. just break it down as u just wanna be friends right now anmd see where it goes from there. if he doesnt get it then he is as thick as a triple thick shake! lol! tell him that u werent coming on to him either it was just a compliment

Probably. But it depends on his age. If he's younger he'll probably think you're trying to hook up with you because he's a moron. Otherwise, I would think he might consider it to be what it is worth at the moment...a friendship with the potential for it to go further.
