Does anyone have plans or know where to buy advice that will neutralize the noise from the neighbor. It's not the volume it’s the thumping bass, it rattles the windows with the vibration.

Thanks for all of the great suggestions.

I have called the Police several times, they required that I file a report and give my name. I agreed, they have only stopped by at my door but never filed a report.

My vehicle was egged, everytime I called the Police, he has even came to my Door and Threatened me (all of this was reported to the Police)
I have even called his Landlord. My vehicle was vandalized with axel grease, the front step and door handles to my apartment.

Moving is out of the question, can’t afford it.

He also revs the engine on his mini monster truck (with unrestricted header mufflers) sometimes for 10 to 15 minutes. He has also stood in the street and banged a shovel on the ground, just to make noise. He has hooked chains to vehicles that park in front of his rent house and drugged them away from his fence line.

In short he is a psycho, violent and impossible to deal with. That’s why I was searching for a way to neutralize him (from across the street).

Bose noise canceling headphones are absolutely essential in this situation. That and calling the police and/or your home owners association and/or your landlord. Good luck, and don't forget the Bose noise canceling headphones as they are just simply wonderful and I wouldn't know how to get by without them these days!

Well, you can try a white noise machine. They work really well against outside annoyances. However, if the windows are actually rattling, you probably need to call the police on them every time. (You can make sure the cops don't tell them which neighbor complained.)

We have the same problems. We called the police on a few occassions. It's settled down a bit. If it persists you can call and talk to an officer, they might step up patrols. Good luck.

You can make a complaint without giving your name. If you file a report, you have to go to court.
