Allowing waste to stay that long can cause all kinds of problems, I'm on a great all natural supplement I think you'd like. It contains aloe and alfalfa and they cleanse all the toxins from your body, and keep you very regular without stimulating you into diarrhea. Lots of laxatives keep you from absorbing minerals properly, you may also become dehydrated that way. The supplements are inexpensive, easy to take and have no negative side effects.

email me for more info, Id love to help!

Linseeds are really good. Sprinkle them on your cereal or in a salad. I mean the seeds not the oil. Also ensure that you drink plenty of water each day, most people don't. Avoid white bread and eat raw veg, plenty of fruit, go for a long walk or a run. If all else fails, 3 weetabix for breakfast should get things started. White bread and a stodgy diet are really good at causing constipation. Constipation is when you pass small hard stools, it is not constipation if you do not open your bowels on a daily basis, not everyone goes everyday.

A glass of 1/2 prune juice, 1/2 lemon juice should do the trick if taken once a day for 2-3 days.Or just drink about 18 beers and the next morning your bowels will be moving as freely as a country stream.

Eat more fiber. Drink more water. Don't use a laxative unless you absolutely have too. Also, its safe to take a "stool softner" once a day. That should help get things moving.

As soon as you get out of a nice warm bed, take a large glass of very cold water. It will shock your system. Works for me.
