For a truly informed answer you would have to ask the Nazis and the Jewish survivors of those medical experiments .
We as a whole gained a lot of knowledge from Hitler's medical experiments but in order to perform them a group of formerly persons has to be down graded to sub human as the Jews were at that time.
So in short the pro's are knowledge the con is becoming the devil and making a section of the population un human ....the biggest con to this is you may be next on the undesirable list or maybe your family or your friend or or or . Once you open that door your on your way to somewhere no one wants to be .....and it will as always be sold to you as or that group over there who cares they don't feel pain the way you and I do or the old stand by - they asked for it ------be careful the person who said that about them may say it about you

Pros: Actual Human testing...We know how the "medicine" will affect humans. We find many of the side-effects early in the stage; before many people get infected. Better one than many. We keep PETA at bay... We make it so the bums (actual and the ones that are leeches...) get some money, thus making for a greater economy...(kinda)...Fewer law suits for medical companies; there won't be many "BOO SURPRISE! This pill is dangerous!" Scenarios. Scientists get to play "god". ( it is a pro. for them atleast). If it works then you just dramatically changed someone's life.
Cons: Messing around with peoples bodies and minds. Expensive. You have to pay for a lot of personal. Unless you get volunteers but then you wont get as many making it for test results to be a bit less precise. Many different people in this world react differently from one another. 12 monekeys. It can happen. Mind over matter. You can't really fix a problem if you "mess" up!

Pros:
- getting accurate data on how well the medication or procedure works on humans. Sometimes we respond differently than do rats, monkeys, etc.
- finding a new treatment for an otherwise hard to treat, or untreatable illness, injury, condition, etc.
Cons:
- injuring, maiming, or killing the subject;
- May need to perform the test on someone who can't give an informed consent, like a child, a mentally damaged, or an insane person, in order to know if the treatment can help them.
