I was told diet pepsi is better for you. But bad in large doses. Well was this a large enough dose to be bad?

I mean I love drinking water too. I don't drink fruit juice because it has a lot of sugar in it. I drink fat free milk but thats usually with cereal or chocalate protein powder.

I was gonna get a can of diet pepsi but that was $0.79 at the liquor store, and I was like I might as well get the 2 liter for $1.49. So I did that and end up drinking the whole thing. I got addicted to it today I guess, I needed the caffeine and now I'm think im high on it. I did take a trip to the bathroom 45 mins ago and did a #2.

Well, in a sense you saved over 800 calories compared to regular Pepsi. I'm assuming it was sweetened with Aspartame (Equal). Trouble is, research indicates that there is NO safe level of Aspartame for human consumption. Political skullduggery got it past the FDA and now, sadly, it's in wide use everywhere. If you doubt me, Google "dangers of aspartame" and see what you get. It's pretty scary.

I'll probably be called anti-American for saying this, but I see no rationale for soda at all. It has no nutritional value. Regular soda is nothing but sugar calories, and diet sodas are toxic, IMHO. I can't believe how much money we throw away on this stuff.

Yeah, yeah, I know, I'm an old curmudgeon. But I'm a healthy one!

You drank 2 liters of a soft drink? Any soft drink at all, diet or not has tons on sodium in it for one bad thing. Then think of all the carbonation you just ingested. Not to mention the stuff they use like aspartame or splenda or whatever chemical sugar it is.

Yes, that stuff's bad for you and especially in those quantities.

Drink 2 liters of water instead.'

Fairly stupid thing to do.

Aspartame is a Neuro Toxin, sort of destroys your nerves. It also makes you put on weight so 'Bang' goes the 'Diet'!

Phosphoric Acid is corrosive and you've just drunk a load. This chemical is so corrosive that it has to be transported in Stainless Steel containers.

Was it bad for you? Yes, any toxin is bad. Don't do it again!

Yes it was. How could you anyways? Diet Pepsi is the worst tasting diet pop there is. Diet Mountain Dew and diet Dr. Pepper are alright.

Get some Pepsi.
Pour it in a cup.
Put some nails in the cup w/Pepsi.

Let it stay overnight, and my friend that is what it is doing to your body if you drink it with a passion.

PEPSI EATS BONES, AND CAUSES DISEASES OF THE NERVOUS SYSTEM. THEIR IS COAL TAR ON THE LINER OF THE CAN THAT CAUSES !!!!!CANCER!!!!!!!!

Did I scare you? True though.

Your teeth probably aren't happy, but I sincerely doubt this is enough to do anything but make you burp and pee. Ususally when they say large amounts are harmless, they mean like 30 gallons.....

NO, you will just lose a lot of weight, so it would be a good idea to immedietely eat an entire 20" pizza to make up the difference. :-P

Synthetic sweeteners are hard to digest, you'll probably find that out on your next trip to the bathroom.
