Whether it's legal or not, you should not own a wolf. A wolf is a wild animal even if you raise it from birth. That is the reason why it took hundreds of year to domesticate it into a domestic dog. The only people who should own wolves are sancuaries or people with tons and tons of wild animal experince. Your experience with wolves should be equal to the amonunt of experience the croc hunter had before he got his first croc on his property (not as a pet, btw). The reason why people would want wolves is to feel special and because they are exoctic. You should think about getting a new car if you want to show off. Or get a breed that looks like a wolf if you have that desire, like a samoyed, Siberian husky, or alaskan malamute, or a German Shepherd.

Besides that, are you willing to take on the responsibility when your wolf kills a little kid? Or when it gets loose and the cops have to shoot it? Also wolves are not dogs - they never learn not to destroy your house, to not mark everywhere, and their mouths are big and cause more damage --they CANNOT be left home alone, EVER.

Why would you want to? They should not be kept as pets anywhere, but certainly not in Miami. This is a wild animal that is use to colder temperatures, not 100 degree heat and humidity. Leave the wolf where it belongs, IN THE WILD! If you want a pet and live in Miami, get a dog with a short coat, like a boxer or bull dog.

people shouldn't buy wild animals and keep them as pets. A wolf dog hybrid is pushing it, but a full blooded wolf would not be kept as a pet.

why would you want to? Wolves are wild animals(even the "hybrids") and cannot be domesticated. To even attempt to do so would be unfair to the animal and dangerous to you and others. Unfortunately, people continue to own wolves and wolf-hybrids and the ones that pay the price are (you guessed it)..the animal. Leave wolves in the wild where they belong.
