Originally, it was called the Sailor's Disease, as an American Sailor was one of the first known cases of it. They could not help him or treat him. It was said he contracted it from a bird. But, knowing that sailors traveled to different countries, they believed it was from Africa or Siberia as these were a couple of the places he had really been to.

Where did HIV come from?

They don't know. Scientists have different theories about the origin of HIV, but none have been proven. The earliest known case of HIV was from a blood sample collected in 1959 from a man in Kinshasha, Democratic Republic of Congo. (How he became infected is not known.) Genetic analysis of this blood sample suggests that HIV-1 may have stemmed from a single virus in the late 1940s or early 1950s.

Most of the countries over there share having sex with more than one partner. It most times is found in people who have sex with more than one partner, in people whose partners have had sex with more than one partner and in homosexual partners.

Yes it is a virus that started on the monkeys from Africa, then it got spreaded through humans. That´s why in Africa the majority of population has gotten de HIV virus.

but they can tell where every human body has been at anytime and knows everything about you and me!
