I would say 7$ an hour i babysit a 1 year old for 2 or 3 hours and get 40$ so she over pays me. I think maybe even 20$ a day would work for you.

Is it a teenager? 20-30 dollars

Is it an adult? 30-50 dollars
Will they be doing chores or cooking? 40-60 dollars
Will you be in the house as well? 35-55 dollars

If you live in an area where things are expensive you may want to start at the higher end of the scale. Also, if the babysitter is CPR certified or has taken babysitting courses, you'll probably want to offer more money. In the end though, whatever you and the babysitter agree on is what's best.

Depends on where you live. In larger cities like Las Vegas the going rate for babysitting is 5-7 dollars an hour per kid per hour. If you live in a smaller city it can be 3-5 dollars an hour. Anything less than that is unrealistic. You get what you pay for even with child care. No one is going to properly care for your child for 1.85 an hour. This is what I have payed at numerous places in Las Vegas and Southern Utah.

Depending on if you're going to the home of the child to do the sitting or are they bringing the child to you... I'd charge 20 bucks per day... if they bring the child to me... 25$ a day if I have to travel there.. gotta make adjustments for gas and travel time in there!

I would charge between $ 5 to $7 an hour. I know the Babysitter does not have much to do, but it is her/his free time he is spending in your house to do this job.

I would charge $20 - $ 25 dollars.
Do they have first aide for infants?
How many other children are they looking
after?
Are you getting a receipt for tax purposes?

$40.00 a week. Just remember if you want an older person and not a teen(nothing wrong with a teen though)then you will need to pay a lil more.
