Yes your hair will grow if you get it cut. Its not that your hair isn't growing its that your ends are so damaged they continue to split upwards and it seems as if its not growing. For example if your hair was not growing you would not have roots 4 weeks after you color. Get it cut it will be healthier, look better and you will see lenght come back. keep up the mainteinence. every 8 weeks get 1/4 inch trimmed off. but for starters get all the dead cut off or you will be in the same spot you are in now. dont go in and expect to get one inch cut off and that will solve the problem it wont, get the dead cut off then go back for trims.

First off, if you are dying/coloring your hair regularly, it is growing--but is very likely breaking off at the same rate that it's growing, due to damage, hence why you're not seeing any growth. Many people have trouble growing past certain lengths with dyed hair because it is weaker, but it's most likely from damage and not your hair stopping growing.
A trim to get rid of the damage/even the ends up and better care (less or no heat, dye just your roots when you do color, more moisture to the ends, being overall gentler) should mean you'll see growth in the actual length. If it gets back to where it was before and keeps going, however, will depend on if you can keep damage to a minimum. And remember, if you go to get regular trims that hair only grows so fast--and if you're aiming for a longer length to get fewer and smaller trims.

hmm... some people just grow to the same length and dont grow anymore. The dying has probably slowed down the process but it wouldnt stop it. also try to buy some moisturizing conditioner. What I do is take about a dime size of normal moisturizing or hand lotion, spread it all over the front and back of my hands and put it through my hair when it is dry. that has really improved my hair. do it about 3 times a week

It probably didn't grow because of all the split ends and damage. Trim your hair every 6 weeks. If you color your hair, straighten, or curly it alot. Then use a good conditioner for your hair. Hope that helps.

you hair only appears not to be growing. It grows and snaps off at the damaged parts. Go to a salon get a hair cut and ask them for some help with your hair.

You have to trim or cut your hair all the time to keep it healthy. I color my hair all the time and it still grows fast, but I always trim it.
