Sort of self-conscious because I'm a skinny bastard. Not as muscular as the other guys. I've tried working out for a while, but I just don't get bigger.

You should never put yourself down. You are self-conscious because of low self-esteem. People will always try to put you down no matter how muscular, sexy, rich, powerful you become, because the world is an adversarial place, and people will attack you any way they can get away with doing. It's hard to see the world this way, because everyone wears a pleasant mask. This is done to mask their true desires and intentions. Most often it is the ones that are closest to you that have the most evil intentions toward you.
But ironically, a person's greatest fear is that they are a bad person like the people that have hurt them, so they are in denial about their true nature. Use this against them.

Not all men are created equal. I have 2 sons. One is tall and average build. The other is in a body building competition and had bulked up really fast. (no steroids at all). So, look for something else that stands out that people like. You may find that not all women prefer the bulky type. Both sons have had many girlfriends but the average one has a lot more friends of both sexes because he isn't so into himself that he doesn't have much time for a social life. So enjoy who you are.

Everybody in the known universe has at least one issue. Some have more than others. Too short, require glasses, too fat, too poor, you name it - it's all across the board. Welcome to the club. You're normal. Keep working out: not only might it increase your size (take a closer look at your diet - it probably has something to do with it) but it's easier to have a healthy mind (and ego) inside a healthy body.
God love you.

I didn't quite catch your qusetion. But look at it this way: like 80% of American's are obese and it is a seriuos health risk. Unless you are anorexic you are not at a health risk. So look at that. Also you need to just be confident. Girls are not all about apperences!!! If you are confident it will shine through totally!

don't know how old u r,but, when iwas 12 on up to 18 i was always skinny. and then around 20 i started filling out. i always worked out too. sounds like u mite have a fast metabolism or just too young to fill out yet. if u can afford it call your local GNC. they sell weight training products and ask them what you need as far as supplements to put on weight. hope this helps.

working out wont do anything for you if you dont have the right diet. a skinny person needs to take in several thousand calories per day, everyday and take in lots of protein. talk to your doctor about it, they can help

yeah i know that's hard for guys. one of my best friends was always self-concious about it. but you CAN use it to your advantage. make it a stong point, not a weak point and remind yourself that you'd rather weigh 100 pounds and be a stick, than be 350 pounds and chunky lumpkins.
