My dog got sick and made a mess(poop) while I was at work and I tried some stuff I got at the grocery store but it didn't get everything out.Help!

We have 3 dogs and 3 cats. I found two products I swear by. You can get them at Petsmart. One is Nature's Miracle Stain & Odor Remover $4. The other is Capture Carpet Cleaning System Pet Pack $28. Both work great. I keep the pet pack in case there is a large stain.

I'm not sure what all the rage is with Nature's Miracle. I have tried it several times and it has never done anything spectacular for my carpets. I have 2 cats and 2 dogs. I have had every kind of pet stain you can think of and have tried everything there is. For me, Nature's Miracle basically seemed to work for a few days, then the stains would reappear or the smell would come back worse than before. I ended up trying Genesis 950. It worked beyond my expectations. Not only did it clean the stains and remove the smells, but it got out stains that were there for MONTHS! I swear by it and can tell you that it is the best pet stain remover I have ever used . . . and I have had pets my whole life.

Natures Miracle. They sell it at PetSmart & Petco. The stuff works great. It also comes in an Orange/Oxy Formula. We have used both for cat and dog messes, and it does the job. Plus it's safety tested to use around animals. I would be very careful spraying 409 and such where my dog is going to walk, it could make doggie sick.

I mix the 409 stain remover with liquid dish detergent. It seems anything added with the liquid detergent always works. Dawn seems best.
